Shane is involved in matters concerning capital markets, corporate and commercial law and undertakes assignments relating to foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, equity investment, incorporations and lending. He has been involved in setting up many a local presence for foreign clients that include the registration of branch offices and the incorporation of local subsidiaries registered with the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka. Shane has also been involved in many due diligence assignments and the acquisition of several private, public and public-listed companies. He is also involved in advising on and drafting Commercial Agreements such as Shareholder Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Distributor Agreements, Franchise Agreements etc. Shane also has experience in drafting and preparing Mortgage Bonds and other security documentation over movables for several leading commercial banks operating in Sri Lanka. He has worked on a number of Bond Issues, and is also familiar with company secretarial work.
